On May 13, 2025, in the framework of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, to highlight the high impact that the technology has done on our lives, was organized the Scientific Forum “Digital Transformation”. The forum was organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Beder University, in Tirana, Albania.
The focus of the forum was the Digitalization of the Entrepreneurship & Industry and Digitalization of Education.
The Textile and Fashion Department at Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania participated with a presentation about DIGI4Wearables Project titled “Digital transformations in the Garments and Footwear Industry in Albania”. The Digi34Wearables Project as part of the digitalization of Footwear Industry in Albania was presented to the audience for the opportunities that it offers for the footwear companies including all the interested actors as pattern makers, technicians, product managers, etc.
The event gathered representatives from industry, academia and students. It was a great opportunity to present the results of the Digi4Wearables project and the digitalization of education by presenting the E-Learning Platform.
